What I Do
Each landscape is unique and needs to be considered as such. My aim is to create beautiful, timeless landscapes that belong to you and your location. Sustainability and ecology are at the heart of every design; I strive to deliver gardens that you want to spend time in year round and that simultaneously benefit wildlife and the planet as a whole - I strongly believe it does not need to be one or the other. Reusing and recycling materials, low-input planting, water harvesting and a light-touch approach to the landscape are all fundamental to my design principles.

The full design service includes concept development, masterplanning, material and planting palettes, detailed construction drawings, planting plans and specifications, as well as guidance, inspections and support throughout the build. Everything needed to produce a beautiful, usable garden for both you and mother nature.
If you don’t need a complete redesign but would like some inspiration and ideas on how you can improve your outdoor space to make it work better for you then this is a one-hour consultation, either in person or online is a great option.
We will walk through your garden together and I will advise on layout, hard-landscaping materials, planting, practical improvements and opportunities you may not have considered.
Following the consultation, you will receive a written summary including relevant plant, material and sourcing suggestions.
For gardens where the overall layout works but the planting needs refreshing, developing or a complete rethink.
I will create a planting scheme tailored to the character and conditions of your garden, considering its soil, aspect, existing vegetation and individual microclimates, as well as the atmosphere you would like to create.
Your planting design will include a planting plan, visual mood board, detailed plant and sourcing schedule, and guidance on establishment and ongoing care.
The result is a seasonal and climate resilient planting scheme based on a simple principle: right plant, right place.
