A Yorkshire Garden reimagines the grounds of a Grade II-listed Georgian rectory as a relaxed, playful family landscape. Inspired by the Yorkshire countryside and David Hockney’s vivid landscapes, the design strengthens the connection between house and garden through a series of spaces for family life and entertaining. Reclaimed Yorkstone, stone troughs, crushed barn material and timber from a removed beech connect the garden to its history, while native hedging, layered planting and flashes of colour create a landscape that is pastoral and calm, yet generous and characterful, and designed for everyday life.
